Are you DBS/CRB checked?
Yes, I have a DBS check my certificate is available to view if requested.
Do you have insurance?
Yes Creature Kind is fully insured which includes key cover
I have booked what happens now?
After you have booked in with us, I will arrange a free pre-service visit to discuss your pet’s needs and the service you require.
What is a pre-service appointment?
A pre-service appointment is scheduled with new customers, to give us a chance to meet your pets and for them to meet us. I also have a fact sheet to go through with you to ensure we have all the relevant information we might need and to answer any questions you may have.
Can you administer medication during per sitting?
Yes, Creature Kind is happy to minister medication to your pets in accordance with instructions.
Is travel time included in my paid walking time?
No. Your 1 hour starts from the time I start walking your dog this is to ensure they get a full hour-long walk.
Do you let dogs off the lead?
Once I feel I have built up a relationship with your dog, I am happy to walk them off the lead if you wish.
Does my dog have to be microchipped?
Yes. It is now law as of 6th April 2016 for all dogs to be microchipped if they are 8 weeks or older. This is the owners responsibility.
Does my dog need a collar?
Yes we require your dog to wear a collar with a tag. The tag must have all your contact details on.
Do I need to be home when you walk my dog?
No, some clients leave me keys that are safely locked away with no personal information linking them to your home. You can also choose to leave keys in a key safe if you wish.
How do I know how my dogs are doing?
Are there any breeds you will not walk?
Do you take out bitches when they are in season?
Unfortunately we can not offer walks when they are in season.
Does my dog need to have had vaccinations?

When do you suggest a solo walk?
Solo walks are ideal for dogs that require a little bit more attention or that do not socialise very well with others. Solo walks can be used as a tool for confidence building to work on recall and other behaviours. They are also ideal for older dogs or dogs recovering from injury, this allows us to take it at our own pace.
I'm unable to schedule regular weekly walks, can I still book?
Yes we can offer this service as long as we have availability in our diary. We recommend giving as much notice as possible.
When do I pay?
Payment is due within 3 days of receiving invoice. If service is booked at short notice then payment will be required straight away.
How do I pay?
We accept cash, cheques or BACS. Payment information will be on your invoice.
Can I cancel?

Will my house be safe?
We will make sure we take full care of your house and pets while you are away. Keys will be kept locked away and no personal details linking them to your house. We can turn lights on and off if requested. We also offer a service to make sure bins are taken out and plants are watered (Please see Packages for more information).
What happens in bad weather?
We walk dogs in all weathers when it is safe to do so. I will towel off and clean there paws should they be muddy. Walks may be impacted in extreme weather conditions i.e heavy snow. In the event of this happening, a refund will be issued.
Do you dog walk at weekends?
Yes we have slots available for weekend walks, these are subject to availability.
Do you offer your services on holidays and bank holidays?
Yes we have limited availability for holidays and bank holidays and will be subject to a bank holiday charge. these are subject to availability. Please contact us for more information
Do you offer your service outside your catchment area?
We can quote you a price if you are outside our catchment area these will be subject to a charge depending on the distance. Please contact us for more information.
